
Tzatziki
INGREDIENTS
Serves 2
- 1/4 of a cucumber
- 2 tbsp of white wine vinegar
- Sea salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp of full fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 a clove of crushed garlic
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- Dessert spoon of chopped dill
LETS MAKE TZATZIKI!
- Peel you cucumber and then grate it
- Put the cucumber into a bowl and add 1 tbsp of white wine vinegar and a pinch of salt. Set aside
- Put the yogurt into another bowl and add your crushed garlic, olive oil ,1 tbsp of white wine vinegar and season with salt & pepper
- Now you need to remove the liquid from the cucumber that you set aside earlier. You can do this using strong kitchen roll or a towel
- Now add the cucumber to the yogurt sauce
- Taste to see if more seasoning is needed
- Finally, add the chopped dill and give it a good mix
- You can add a dusting of smoked paprika if you want to - this is optional
