GREEN DISH || Steak Topped With Onion & Sweet Potato Slices


INGREDIENTS 

Serves 1

  • 1 handful of steak (rump is the best choice)
  • 1/4 a white onion 
  • 1 handful of sweet potato
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder 
  • 1 tsp of fine parmesan
  • Salt & pepper  

 

LET'S GET COOKING!

  1. Fry all ingredient's (excluding the steak) on a medium heat in unsalted butter for 8-10mins
  2. Once golden and crispy, remove from the pan and place on a piece of kitchen role to absorb the excess oil. Leave to cool whilst you cook your steak (this will make it more crispy)
  3. Cook the steak to your liking. I like my steak to be medium rare, which takes 3 mins each side on a high heat
  4. Ready to serve - top the steak with the crispy onions and potatoes, as demonstrated in the video
